The Architecture of the Unspoken Session 2

August 22 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

The Architecture of the Unspoken Session 2
Workshop with Grant Bustin

Join artist Grant Bustin for a creative wellbeing workshop that explores the connections between people, language, and the environment. Through large-scale word art and free-flowing mark-making, participants will transform thoughts, emotions, and reflections on the natural world into abstract visual landscapes.

As part of MOTE’s environmental programme, this workshop encourages participants to think about how nature shapes our wellbeing, identities, and communities. Drawing inspiration from the landscapes, ecosystems, and environments around us, you’ll explore how creativity can help us better understand our relationship with the world we live in.

Designed as a relaxed and welcoming space, the workshop offers an opportunity to slow down, reduce stress, meet new people, and engage with environmental themes through art and conversation. No previous artistic experience is needed—just a willingness to experiment, reflect, and create.

What you’ll explore:

  • The relationship between people and the environment
  • How art can help us respond to environmental issues and experiences
  • Creative techniques for large-scale word art and mark-making
  • Mindfulness, wellbeing, and self-expression through creativity

🍃 Reflect on nature • Connect with others • Create something meaningful 🍃
